About HashTools

I built this because I got tired of the alternatives. Every time I needed to hash something quickly, decode a JWT, or figure out what algorithm produced some hash I was looking at, I'd end up on a site drowning in ads — or I'd wonder if what I was pasting was being logged somewhere.

So I made my own. Nothing clever about the idea. Just the tools I actually use, running entirely in your browser, with no server involved.

When you paste an API key, a password, or anything sensitive into one of these tools, it never leaves your tab. The computation runs in JavaScript locally. There's no backend collecting input.

There's no team behind this. No company, no investors, no roadmap meetings. It's a side project I keep adding to when I run into something useful that isn't here yet.
